A Deck Of Printable Cards That Address Carceral Logics In Organizations

You have formed a group and you do excellent work. But when it comes to group dynamics and problem solving, you noticed that people fall quickly into carceral logics. From policing, to shunning, to surveillance, the group has formed directions that reflect harmful colonial responses grounded in policing and carceral logics.

This deck isn’t meant to be an end-all solution, nor do I make any claims around it being comprehensive. I built as a tool to assist in problem solving when you are addressing common pitfalls in interpersonal dynamics.

There are four sets:

• Carceral logics and policing mindset
• Abolitionist response
• Paired cards and combo plays
• Trap scenarios

The sets are meant to be used together as a gamefied approach. They include descriptions, definitions, approaches, solutions and pair well with the Dismantling Carceral Logics RPG but also work well as a standalone tool. These are printable ideally at a business card size, but I made them flexible enough for larger ratios.
